With a population of approximately 40,000, the Village of Homer Glen is located 25 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, in Homer Township, Will County, Illinois.

In 2002, this community was one of 16 in all of Illinois to be awarded the Green Communities Demonstration Grant, and in 2005, the Homer Glen Board of Trustees formally adopted the Green Vision Statement and Goals for the Village of Homer Glen.

One of my home sales here was a magnificent home that sat on five wooded acres. It was appropriately nicknamed "The Castle" in the Village, being that it was 10,000+ sq ft and took over 3 years to build.
