For us amateur photographers I have taken my best pictures at Bird Haven Greenhouse Conservatory on Gougar Road-on the border of New Lenox. Exquisite flowers and waterfalls all year round. Don’t forget to walk the beautiful nature trails adjoining this greenhouse! It only takes 10 minutes to get to Brook Hills from here…..right down SW Highway!
- The New Lenox Community Park District’s Annual Proud American Days Festival is held each year on the last weekend in July.
- The Chamber’s Halloween Fest is held annually on the Saturday prior to Halloween and features frightful fun for hundreds of area families.
